I know Lisp has great metaprogramming capabilities -- at least for compile-time macroes -- but I don't know much about its runtime metaprogramming capabilities. Thanks for the pointer -- I will research it further.Yarivnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16940011.post-37829388116752988752006-08-16T16:47:55.000-07:002006-08-16T16:47:55.000-07:00Erlangist -- I actually prefer to think of it is a...Erlangist -- I actually prefer to think of it is a Erlang on Jet Engines or something, but yeah, you get the point :)Yarivnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16940011.post-69592088476072725942006-08-16T17:40:54.000-07:002006-08-16T17:40:54.000-07:00Hi Yariv,One way of hyping Erlang to the web commu...Hi Yariv,

One way of hyping Erlang to the web community would be to build a Tadalist like app to compare with the Ruby on Rails version, http://www.tadalist.com/ and the Rife [Java etc] version, http://www.blablalist.com/

That would really put the Erlang cat amongst the pidgeons!Nevillenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16940011.post-73288307979678206892006-08-17T00:19:55.000-07:002006-08-17T00:19:55.000-07:00Neville, keep reading this blog, and you'll se...Neville, keep reading this blog, and you'll see some cool stuff -- not just by me, but also other people.
